Accidental airing of the exorcist on a children's channel

I posted this on reddit but nobody else remembered it but they said to post here so I'll just paste the body text.

I remember as a kid we would always watch the Canadian children's channel "Treehouse" in the mornings but one morning what they showed on it was either part of the exorcist or just a tv segment talking about it, and I remember the very next day a man coming on treehouse and apologizing explaining that chorus is a multimedia company and it was a mix up.

I think about it pretty often and I've never been able to find any evidence of it but I remember it distinctly because the random man scared me more than the exorcist scenes did lol. If anyone remembers anything like this it would be cool to find a clip of him apologizing.

It was in the southern Ontario area if that means anything. I ended up sending an email to treehouse inquiring about it but they never answered or anything.

I didn't even want to do a writeup because it sounds made up but I distinctly remember this and I've thought about it so many times over the years.
