Excuse me, does anyone know where I could find this particular Tansy and Rosabelle song? They were - of all things - singing about jail. It goes like this:
Jail, welcome to Jail
where the ice cream has no sprinkles
and the chips are stale
jail, welcome to Jail!
My Mother remembers watching it on Treehouse Tv sometime between 2002-2004. She thinks it might have been its own standalone bumper, made to be put between other shows, but she isn't 100% sure. It could have been from a full episode from the show.
She says the song was weirdly... upbeat? It had that typical Tansy and Rosabelle energy, with them being excited and happy. I'm not sure how else to describe it.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about, or has any ideas on how I may be able to find it, let me know! We've been haunted by this strange little tune for years.
Update:
I asked my Mom for more info, and she said that this snippet of the song was its chorus. She also said this chorus changed slightly throughout the song. This is what the second version of the chorus sounded like:
Jail, welcome to jail
where the only toys you'll play with are a mop and pale
Jail, welcome to jail!
I asked my Brother what he remembered as well, and he said he remembered hearing it on the Treehouse Tv website. Unfortunately, the music section of that website doesn't appear to have been archived. I will post another update if I can get access to it, or if i get more info.

WHAT?! They did a Treetown short where Tansy and Roseabelle sung about jail? Is this even real?

Yes, I believe so. My Mom, Brother and grandma all remember seeing it. I don't remember it personally, but I don't think they would make this up. They told me a bit more about their memories of it, so I shall post an update in a jiffy
