I don't mean to say Internet Archive is a perfect solution or anything. I totally agree the more sites found media is uploaded to, the better.

Another idea would be to use torrents, but unfortunately it would probably be viewed as piracy.

Whatever is the best way to save and archive anything, use it. Preferably more than one. I have some art and internet stories that from what I can tell don't exist anymore online, and I saved them on different flash drives. That's just me being ocd, but I have more than one recording just to be sure, so you have a plan B.

Multiple paths. Always more than one copy made, if you can find a copy, so if anything gets lost you have a Plan B. I have three copies of the files on my PC in case things go sideways, some of the stuff is one of a kind videos and pics I've never seen again. Always have a Plan B through H.
