In my search for the Lafflets, I have uncovered a film reel with two cartoons with incredibly racist titles that I would rather not say, there's no film company or credits, so I have no way of tracking this. The title suggests more in the series, so, I was wondering if anyone else has any info on these cartoons. I only know that two exist, but I suspect there are many more.
Just post the titles and the two cartoons itself...
Um... I would rather not. They're incredibly racist. The films are nearly unwatchable due to deterioration, but I'll try,
Yeah man. Just post it. Can't be any worse than some of the things were currently looking for. What's a few slurs gonna do, it's just how people talked back then. And if you really want you can just censor them out.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
The past is FILLED with creations that we now consider offensive and racist (who knows what it'll be in the future!), that are wrong now and were wrong then.
But denying its existence and making it taboo just to mention is not going to make things better in an age of information.
Okay then, have you viewed what was on the film? Or was it completely deteriorated?
Title for the second film is almost unreadable and almost all of the second film is deteriorated, but the first one is decently okay. Roughly 30 straight seconds is deteriorated. It features racists caricatures and stereotypes. The first film is about an explorer going into the congo only to find the racist caricatures dancing, and trying to kill the explorer.
Oh come on, I'm sure that SNR was just joking about it. If you do a quick Google search (or DuckDuckGo for zero censorship) for the "N word" you'll find examples worse that what you got.
When did the walking apes decide that nuclear war Was the only solution for them keeping the score? Just wake up Can’t you wake up?
The joke just flew right over your head, didn't it?
Please, for archival purposes, share the toons.
It's on my list alongside the Hippo Tub Co. Game, Hippo Tub Co, Season 2, and a secret film that I haven't decided whether or not to rip it, due to it's historical significance.
