Speaking of possibly nonexistent cartoons, the page for Holy Halo mentions a cartoon called "Webster" about an angel that can change between human and angel by putting a halo on, and a villain who wanted to steal said halo. It was removed at one point (presumably because of the lack of evidence that it even existed), but was added back on, suggesting that it either may have been real, or TV Tropes is not the origin of said rumor.

I have no idea if this is what the page is referring to, but... apparently it comes from this:
Sometimes I look through tvtropes for new lost media because sometimes they link to sources. One linked source one that had an unarchived, dead, link was a Dreamworks adaptation of an obscure furry comic called "Tales from the Aniverse". I could not find anything else about it, which is a shame because the fact they even considered that is bonkers.

I could imagine that if it DID exist, then it probably was mistaken for a Dreamworks film & was instead from a much lesser known studio like VanguardAnimation or IDK, some random nobody studio based in Redding, Connecticut.
EDIT: Wait, what exact TVTropes page did you get the info & dead link from?

The rabbit hole of DreamWorks deepens. What was the link? Could you share it here?

Has anyone tried contacting the editors responsible for these entries directly? TVT keeps a log of nearly every edit made to a page, with the history going back to the early 2010's. If any of the editors were still active, they could at least rationalize what they were thinking.
If they were telling the truth, we'd get a new lead, and if they were bullshitting us, well, ideally that'd be pretty self-evident?

Found a possible other one: On the Western RPG page, there is a name for a game called Crayon Conwuest, but nothing can be found of the game. I've tried Marginalia, Yandex, Mojeek & Lycos, but couldn't find anything else about this game. Was the game seemingly only available on one site which got shut down & only like, 3 people ever played it? It can easily be some fake game of course & the misspelling sounds a bit AI-esque, but such a misspelling is bound to be intentional considering some indie games out there.
EDIT: Did some quick Internet Archive searches. Those didn't bring up anything either.
