Ear for Eye is a British film written and directed by playwright debbie tucker green based on her 2018 play of the same name which debuted at the 2021 BFI London Film Festival and premiered on television on BBC Two on 16 October this year. The film focuses on black characters of British and U.S. nationality as they tell their stories of racism in both countries in the modern day. The film has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, here's the reason I created this thread. As of this writing, the film is only available only on iPlayer for 7 months, and geoblocked outside the United Kingdom, speaking of I don't even live here. I just want someone who either lives in the United Kingdom or has a VPN (the latter only goes for non-British residents to download the film from iPlayer in 7 months and send the film to me (via Gmail) so I can upload it to the Internet Archive) before or after the film disappears permanently from iPlayer and becomes lost media. As a black person myself (living in a mostly black country to top it all off), I believe the film, from a black creator and featuring and starring a black cast, has to be preserved for future public viewing even after it is taken off a certain public broadcaster's catch-up and video on demand service.
