This Gary Conway film is like the holy grail of lost movies, it was released to theaters in 1977 yet never got a home video release for some weird unknown reason, though it did air on TV in the 70s a few times and was also reportedly shown on military bases(confirmed to me by Fred Adelman of the movie review site "Critical Condition" as that's where he saw it)around the same time. It was supposed to get released by Code Red in the 2010s as a trailer appeared for the film on Youtube in like 2009 but for whatever reason the release never happened, but now Scorpion Releasing has come to the rescue and will be releasing the film next month on Blu-Ray:The Farmer

Interesting that Code Red intended to release it but now Scorpion is releasing it- the companies are owned by brothers (one runs code red, the other scorpion)

Found out that this film actually got leaked on youtube last year in November, though it got taken down REAL quick, its since been uploaded to Archive.org, though that copy is pretty low quality(as it was ripped from a bootleg VHS), so if you just have to see that movie right now here ya go(though i'd recommend waiting for the official release):The Farmer

It was ripped to the archive before the video got taken down I believe.

I dont think anyone knows for sure anymore, but I remember seeing a source claim it was 10 hours.

Similarly I heard there was like a 3-hour long "Roadshow" version of Blues Brothers, used to be when you had really long films there would be an intermission halfway through so audience members could get up and use the bathroom and whatnot, Blues Brothers came out when the trend of "Roadshow" releases was dying out so it didn't last very long in the format and got cut down dramatically for the final release.

I wonder if some sort of release anent Last Summer (1969) is going to be EVER made, anyone knows why won't they release it? The only version anyone not having access to the vaults could dig up is the TCM broadcast version, and it was harshly cut to PG. Apart from the TCM version there is only 80's VHS release to my knowledge, and VHS rips from that release.
