I wouldn't really care because I don't watch that kind of stuff. There are far more interesting lost media cases than that honestly. Plus, there is a likely chance that it just takes a bit of going through Japanese guro stores or abandoned houses in Japan to find it.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime
Since it's apparently a lost horror anime, I'd be pretty stoked to see if that means any other 80s horror anime, or anime from around that era being found. You'd be surprised at how much vintage anime is just lost. It'd be cool to uncover some others.

Well, the amount of vintage animation in general being lost is quite astounding. It doesn't just extend to anime. We'd be talking about the common endeavors of American animation, Canadian animation, French animation, British animation, etc., or we could go into the deeper depths of obscurity like Filipino animation, Dutch animation, Welsh animation, Chilean animation, Latvian animation, etc., etc. I haven't even scratched much of the lost animation iceberg really, only the mere freakin' surface so far... AND I SPOKE ABOUT SPACE CATS, CUPIDO, EUNBI & KKABI, CAT TALES, AND FREAKIN' TIFOU FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

I would eat my hat. And then cut off my left foot. And then set myself on fire with a butane torch. And then recite the script to the entirety of the Shrek tetralogy. Because I'm VERY set in the belief that Go For a Punch/Saki Sonobashi is not real.
The opposite of me: I'd honestly say that this is more likely to be found than any of the lost media I am looking for, mainly because with something like this, there are perhaps Japanese guro stores selling this stuff, meanwhile with stuff like Timberwood Tales or Space Cats, who knows where the heck you'd find THAT stuff.

Saki Sanobashi being found would be a big surprise for me at least, because I personally don't believe it even exists. I think if it is found though, I would still want to know what animation studio would be deranged enough to make something like that.

Just out of curiosity, what other lost media are you looking for that makes you say that this would be more likely to be found?

Tifou: 1988 Belgian puppet series & 1990 French animated adaptation. Someone has episodes of those on 3 tapes, but will otherwise likely be lost forever. Raz: A demo version of this mysterious Commodore 64 platformer has been found, but a full version is said to have existed at some point. It's unknown if that version can be found anymore & nobody knows who made the game, so the full version will likely remain lost to time. Les Super Cracks: A game show that aired on ORTN, which was Niger's only TV station at the time. Manga Homerun: 1961-1962 anime that might or might not exist. The masters are likely gone at this point. Primo Le Savant: A French animated series that aired in 1978. Only one image of it has surfaced AFAIK. Satellite City: A Welsh animated series from 1988 that also aired in the UK. It appears that both the original Welsh version & the English dub are lost media & likely will be for a LOOOOONG time. I believe one small clip surfaced that wasn't just the intro, but otherwise good luck looking for it. Evergreen: A homebrew Atari Lynx game that existed in 2004 & had a run of 13 copies. Might be a case of "existence unconfirmed" here. The Magic Pencil: An Israeli animated series that was about drawing or whatever. Had an uncanny Looney Tunes style to it & had some crap use of digital ink-and-paint. I believe this was from 1998 & likely ended around 2000. Aim Software: Atari 8-Bit video game publisher from the early 1980s that published multiple games according to Atarimania. Very few of their games have actually been dumped & available to the public. Shadows of the Wind: A rumored cancelled Game Boy/Sega Genesis/MS-DOS game from the 1990s. Unknown year, unknown developer, unknown publisher, unknown genre, it was just mentioned on the Undumped Wiki on those 3 systems. Has nothing to do with the 2001 Spanish novel until further notice. Scatters: Was apparently an Electronic Arts Genesis prototype that went for sale. I have no idea who sold it, who bought it, nor what happened to it. Not sure if this one truly exists or not. Likely never existed. Power Piggs of the Dark Age: I don't know about you, but that SNES game has "90s cartoon trying to cash in on TMNT" all over it & it makes me feel like that it's based on some lost cartoon from that time period & it's giving me weird signals that indicate it might exist & a VHS recording might still be out there to prove that it exists. But who the heck knows honestly? Lucky Duck: I believe you can read all of the details behind this one right here. Balla Balla: Sort of a 2D version of Tilt for various home computers. BB would've likely been a Commodore 64 exclusive & we know that BetaSoft had a hand in making this. IF: A supposed cancelled Sega Genesis game. Undumped Wiki is the only site that mentions it. I can't find crap on it, not even with verbatim. Might mean something fishy is going on with that wiki. Lucky Star: Unreleased Atari Lynx game according to the Undumped Wiki once again. There was also another site that mentioned this mysterious game, but I have no idea where to find it now. All I know is that it has nothing to do with the anime. NFL Team Heroes: Some supposed cancelled SNES game... seriously Undumped Wiki, what the heck is with you not crediting sources!? Fairchild Channel F test cartridge: These are mentioned in parts 3 & 4 of the service manual for this console, but no one is known to have owned this particular cartridge. Cupido: Episodes have been found in Croatian for this otherwise lost French animated series from 1991. Also the intro has been found in both French & English. Hebrew as well maybe because I at least remember finding the intro to a Hebrew versions sometime ago. Untitled Motorcycle Games: 2 Atari 2600 games that David Crane reportedly developed while at Activision in the early 1980s. Not much is known about them other than that they were never finished. One of them was abandoned because he couldn't display the buses properly, the other was abandoned meanwhile because the motorcycle sprite was too big. There's some confusion between these 2 games & Suntek's Motocross, but as far as I know there's no legitimate proof that David Crane had any part in the production of Motocross & that it was likely just a hack of Home Vision's lost Madcycle. Cargo Conquest: The Winning Combination: A ZX Spectrum tape that contained 4 games inside. Computer Bomber Game was found & it had a loader containing a picture of a truck as well as the Ford logo & text saying "trucks" at the bottom. This suggests that this combination of games on 1 tape was some sort of promotional game, but no one really knows for sure. Greed: I have no idea what this rumored cancelled Sega Genesis game could've been, but judging by the title, it was presumably based on the psychological drama movie from the 1920s that also had an 8-hour cut that is lost. I mean, there's nothing else to go by because no sources to back up this game's existence, so I'm gonna have to do a bit of wild speculation on my part!
