I posted about this on Reddits TOMT sub, but I figured I'd post it here as well.
I remember watching a special on Travel channel (maybe around 10+ years ago?) that I can't remember the title of for the life of me.
It had segments detailing the following macabre subjects:
-The Hand of Glory
-Burke and Hare ( "Up the Stairs" poem being read on the show)
-Fragonard museum bodies
-A human nervous system display
I believe it was one of their specials they’d air around October for seasonal programming, much like they did with haunted locations/ghost/paranormal etc. specials at the time. I’m not entirely sure about that though, it might have aired all year round.
I also recall watching a special about the Mutter Museum and “Mysteries at the Smithsonian” around the same time.
I thought maybe it was the Mutter museum special, but this special jumped around the world to different museums and exhibits and wasn’t exclusively about Mutter Museum bodies.
I don’t think this was from the “Mysteries at the Museum” series though since the narrator was different. I would say the narrator sounded sort of similar to Peter Thomas from the original run of “Forensic Files”.
I finally found a list of Travel Channel programming that was more detailed than before and this show might be the one I was remembering? called "World's Strangest Remains"
