I'm new, so I'm not sure if this post fits into the guidelines around here, but...
I was looking around the Doraemon wikia when I noticed something quite interesting. Link
If you check the references below, you'll see that quite a few people remember an English dub of Doraemon known as Albert and Sydney, but haven't been able to find any information about it online, or in general. Apparently it only aired in Barbados.
Do you think it's actually real, or just another case of a select few people remembering something that never even existed?

It could be real, but you never really know. For example, I remember the Spaghetti-O cartoon and have no doubt of it being a misconception. Lost media is weird like that.
So I contacted VC (from Random Wire), LEnnon (also from Random Wire), Natz (from Eat Your Kimchi), and the writer of the blog of Nihon no Barbados-jin. I tried contacting melee2000 (from The TFP forums), but the forums moved to a different site. I also couldn't contact anyone from the Trident website because it went to a 404 error, and I couldn't message anybody on Anime Suki due to the page's archive status.
Really? It's a bit of a stretch, but do you have any recollection of the forum page?
BTW, I also used the Wayback Machine for Trident, but the page wasn't archived.
Of the page specifically speaking about the cartoon? No. That conversation would have been at least a couple years ago. The owner decided to shut down the site in at the end of December. He said he was going to archive it as it was full of valuable information. I can ask him if it is available (at least the thread referencing the show) in some form or fashion if you like.
