Apparently Wayne's World wasn't going to be the only video game based on a SNL property. Turns out THQ also were planning on releasing a video game based on Coneheads or at least the 1993 Coneheads movie for the SNES in 1994.Aa year after the movie would hit theaters. It was said to be a puzzle-platform similar to The Lost Vikings. Apparently it was cancelled due to the poor reception of the movie. No screenshots or footage exist nor does any information out side a 1993 issue of Game Informer.

I'd take this with a grain of salt as Game Informer was notorious for mentioning "upcoming" titles which were total bull crap lies they used as filler and to peak interest. It is possible though as just about every 90s film was receiving a game at the time- but the fact that only Game Informer mentions it though makes it a bit fishy.

A magazine called "Game Informer" is bound to be filled to the brim with fake information anyway.
