I always thought that Dead End was this dumb prank that was taken way out of proportion whereas Go For A Punch is an actual OVA. Like, seriously, why do people think that Dead End is real? There are so many freakin' things about it that scream BULLCRAP.
With Dead End, there's the fact that it's tied to Emerson Bixby, who has had actual ties to movies and TV and has an IMDB page. Bixby himself also sort of confirmed its existence as a failed "proof of concept" film he did on a very low budget that didn't get picked up for distribution, so it's not entirely out of the question one of the tapes he made got leaked and copied.
I think a lot of the more out there details in the movie mentioned on IMDB can be chalked up to either exaggeration or people misremembering things and in turn leading to exaggeration.
It's sad that Dead End faces no skepticism yet everyone angrily shrieks at the mere mention of the possibility that Go For A Punch could be real. But that can be chalked up to a very specific Reddit shitposter who was later outed as a liar and a troll, but by the time he got debunked, it was too late.
Well I mean, the amount of movies he made in that year alone I see as too much for one guy & the same crew. There's no way he'd be making THAT many movies with that same cast on such a budget. Plus, there's a likely chance that Emerson Bixby is doing this just to make it so as if he's done anything interesting at all.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

True, although I give him the benefit of the doubt simply because of the fact Bixby is an established screenwriter and has actual film credits later in his life so it's possible he got a bunch of his friends and made a lot of super-low budget student films using what he had in the hopes of them getting picked up by a producer or something. IIRC, his dad was well-established in showbiz so it's not entirely out of the question.
If some of the other movies he did in the 80's can be found, then there's at least some partial validity to his claims.

Still though, they're presumably over an hour long. How many scripts did he have when making these movies!? Did he even have any scripts for most of the movies!? How much time would it take to make ONE of those movies!? What happened during his free time when NOT making movies!? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

I would actually be very grateful if someone can help me find missing episodes of Stanley. Here are the missing episodes:
1. Peekaboo Parrot 2. Worms at Work 3. Mockingbird Scat 4. Proud as a Peacock 5. Web Weavers/Muddy Buddies 6. The Robbing Raven/Flashlight Fireflies 7. I Scream for Ice Cream/Snack Savers 8. A Little Nightingale Music 9. Me and My Palfish 10. To Catch a Hamster/Pearls of Wisdom 11. A Turkey of a Thanksgiving (the unmuted version) 12. The Way of the Buffalo/Follow That Falcon 13. Sheep and a Haircut 14. No News Like Shoe News/Ladybug, Ladybug 15. Stanley's Great Big Book of Adventure
A compilation video featuring most of the performances of "The Great Big Book of Everything" features the version from the episode "Sheep and a Haircut", where Elsie and Harry are joined by two sheep.
Since I've seen the "Peekaboo Parrot" episode, I can provide the plot to it: Stanley's grandmother (I think?) is babysitting for the night and brings her parrot in. However, he flies into the book, leading to Stanley and Dennis to get him back. After they eventually do, "Animal Stanimal"'s grandmother rewards him and his pets with treats.

The longer things go on, the more doubtful I am to finding certain older YouTube media (that may or may not be lost).
I mentioned this one a year or so ago, but it was a semi-goofy Hardy Boys kind of series by two friends who would do amateur homicide detective work called, of course, Teen Homicide. I remember there being at least two or three videos they put together and found it fairly enjoyable as a then twelve or so year old. I don't know if it still exists anymore or it just got lost to the ether. Oh, well. You win some, you lose some.
