Hello! I'm looking for an online game I used to play when I was around 5-8 years old. I remember it having dinosaur characters you can play as and it was one of those basic mmos like club penguin or animal jam, but with Dinosaurs. There isnt much I can remember, I'm pretty sure it used a lot of 2D stills for characters. Tysm if you can help at all!! it was probably a children's educational game?
I have no proof at all that it exist besides the fact i am *100%* sure i played it when i was a child. It had to have been around 2010 or something when i played it. The dinosaur dudes were like anthropormorthic and you were the dinosaurs, so it couldnt have been exhibited. it wasnt webosaurus either. it was much more colorful and flat.
i genuinely feel like this is some genuine lost media. i really hope other people remembered this game too because i loved it so much
Assuming that the game you are referring to is DinoSawUs, I did some research and it turns out that the original site is archived on the Internet Archive. Obviously the game, developed with flash, doesn't work anymore. I'm not a specialist in recovering flash games but I'll look into it. On the other hand, the studio "Curstard Square" at the origin seems to be still active and it's possible that they still have some files because of the way they proudly display it on their homepage.

Does it not work as in Chrome and others don't have flash, or broken as in there are files missing? If it's just no flash plugin use Internet Explorer, I think that still works.

I think that beyond flash, we could encounter problems related to the fact that the servers are logically closed. Regarding flash, I'm not sure how it works but from what I've read about other lost games, the Wayback Machine often forgets files while archiving making the game un-launchable.
Edit: If Vulcriptic confirms that this is the game he was looking for, I think it will be interesting to shift the thread into "lost medias"
