I'm not really sure if it's truly apart of The Dog: Artist Collection brand but I remember it being that. There was a browser game using The Dog art style or something very similar where you adopted a dog, fed it, and walked around as the dog. It must've been from around 2012 or maybe even before that.
I can't find anything about it online so I'm wondering if it was actually apart of The Dog brand. It's 100% not the Wii game, The Dog Island but I also played that. I even had little rubbery plastic figurines related to The Dog brand.
It had a cel-shaded/outline-less 2D art style. I remember the main home screen was in a grassy area with a little red (or customizable) dog house.
I played a lot of different virtual pet browser games, including lesser talked about ones like Littlest Pet Shop online.
Does anyone have any idea of what this was?

pretty sure it was dogfun.scholastic.com (aka the dog world). the game is shut down now and it does have some backups on the wayback machine but none of them seem to work anymore due to flash shutting down. i have a picture on a book i own and i cant seem to find any other pics online so if you want me to show you the picture i have then let me know

I'm like, two years late in replying to this but thank you so much!! I'm guessing that it is Dogfun/ Dog World because it does look a lot like the website. I would love to see a picture of it because I can't find anything else either. I guess it's Lost Media then? All I can think is if Flashpoint saved a version of it but because it's so obscure maybe not.
Gosh the death of flash has caused so much to go missing. It's kinda sad.

heres the picture:
i swear there used to be a high quality image of the back of this book (the dog: lab to the rescue) but i cannot find it anywhere so who knows. its also unfortunately not on flashpoint
extra note: the game mustve shut down around 2013-2014 as i remember trying to access the site but it had already been taken offline by then. it does suck how much flash shutting down broke so many old sites and caused so much more lost media
