Around Halloween of I think 2010, maybe later, I was watching Nicktoons late at night when all of a sudden I came across a REALLY disturbing bumper. The bumper featured the character Bessie from The Mighty B! slowly skimping across the screen groaning, drawn as a hyper detailed, grotesque zombie. A few seconds later, her glasses would fall off revealing her lifeless eyes, followed by either lightning or screaming. The animation was done in cheap, yet smooth flash animation.

I know this bumper exists because I remember people also talking about it in the old nickelodeon website forums and in youtube comments occasionally, though I haven't found a trace of where I can find this bumper anywhere. I even heard there were a few more bumpers in the same style as that one, such as a creepy Fanboy and Chum Chum ident with them hopping on a bed with glowing white eyes, and an Avatar one with Aang just... dead. Does anyone else remember idents like this, or know where to find any footage of them?

WAIT I THINK I KNOW THIS!! I've been trying to find a Mighty B bumper which showed Bessie as a robot (which I made a thread about) but I think I actually might be thinking of this! Or at least I'm getting them mixed up. This is actually helpful information so thank you for posting this!

And I diffidently do remember the Aang one so I'll gladly join in a search

Crucial piece of info to keep in mind - I 100% recall these being viewable on the official Nickelodeon/Nicktoons website, at the time they were airing (I know I said 2012 but I'm starting to think 2010 now).

The SpongeBob Zombified bump also was on YouTube for a bit, as well as the Mighty B one.

Best bet tbh would be to either look through YouTube or private torrent trackers (ex. MySpleen) for some old 2010 October broadcast recordings of NickToons and hope by mere luck you'll find them.

The last time I saw these mentioned directly were from a few youtube comments, but some of them are long gone because of the COPPA update.

I DO know these aired around 2011 though, as proof from this old twitter post.

Apparently they WERE called "Nicktoons get Zombified" or something like that!

Can't really give a definitive answer, but I REALLY remember these airing on Nicktoons when i first watched them. For all we know there's a chance they aired on 'both' channels, but that might be a stretch

I might even have memory of sticking with the Nickelodeon channel more often around that time just because I was scared of too those bumpers, lol

Hey, so I kind of want to stop by and make my first post here on this thread because this really interests me, and the fact that people seem to vividly remember these weird ads leads me to believe that this was real and we could very well have a new piece (or pieces) of media to find on our hands.

Upon doing my own digging on my web browser, I came across a few results of people collectively remembering the same thing, specifically these two posts from Reddit:

What's really interesting is that the shorts I've heard from this thread sound the *exact* same as the ones heard in this Reddit post, which once again leads me to believe that these are in fact real.
Anyways, I would definitely love to hear if anymore updates pop up, and I'm hoping we can find these missing shorts someday!

I've been following this search for a couple weeks after having seen the other thread that covers the other bumpers as well. I'm pretty up to date with what was found and am really glad to see the clean thumbnails since they were so small on the Nick site.

It's too bad the wayback machine didn't save the videos but it's also not surprising, though from the looks of it there could be a way to get the videos. I'm really not very knowledgeable on the technical side of things relating to that but if they can't get the files I'm up to help out the search because these are bumpers I'd definitely like to see.

I can't really remember a time when the community searched for bumpers from the 2010s but we probably wouldn't have to resort to VHS recordings of them if anyone was even using tapes to record at the time. I'd be surprised if they weren't anywhere else online since they were easily available at one point.

So tried using the “before” feature on YouTube and didn’t find anything.

Here’s what I wrote:
“Mighty B before:2012”
“Fanboy and chum chum before:2012”
“Mighty B halloween before:2012”
“Fanboy and chum chum before:2012”
“Bessie gets zombified before:2012”
“Fanboy and chum chum gets zombified before:2012”

Maybe someone else could take a look? I’m sure I might have kissed some stuff.

Edit: I just looked it up in (google translate) “Bessie gets zombified” because I saw a lot of Spanish results and that yielded nothing at all. But I know google translate a hit or miss. So for all I know it could have been completely broken. It translated to “Bessie se vuelve zombificada“
