'Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea' is an English translation of the French cartoon 'The Engulfed Worlds'. I watched it on Nickelodeon back in the 80's but while the original French version was released on DVD around 2000 the English dub exists only fragmentally around the internet as best I can tell. Does anyone know if and where it can be found in its entirety?

Could be worse. Try to find the English dub of the French series Thierry La Fronde which every kid in Canada knew back in the 1960s. Sadly, only the French version is available. I figure CBC must have destroyed the original English audio or prints after it's run and they lost the rights to the show. And no fansub of the French one exists either as there are no English subs on the DVDs. Another show that fell off the map of so long ago...

It looks like the english dub was released on various dvd & vhs releases. Not sure if it is complete on either of those mediums.

Each episode is labelled with either (VHS) or (DVD) to show where it came from. Some episodes aren't completely english and some are subtitled. Episodes 28 & 40 have both a vhs & dvd version because the dvd versions aren't completely in english.
