I have this memory of a show I saw in the very early 2000s. It's more funny than disturbing, but I've never been able to pin down exactly what this was. I was probably 3 or 4 at the time, so it would have been around 2003 or 2004 and likely afternoon TV.
The clip involved a man sitting on a wall in some kind of garden eating spoonfuls of food. Each time he brought the spoon to his mouth, he said "mmm..." and the letters appeared beside him. I remember my mum laughing, and she pointed out that the man wasn't actually eating the food. He was saying "mmm..." sarcastically and flicking the food over his shoulder onto the flower beds behind him.
I seem to recall some of the shots being from a high angle, and I don't think it was an outright comedy show. It could just be a faulty memory but I think it had the tone of a daytime reality programme.
As usual with these weird TV memories, my parents have no idea what I'm talking about. It was such a surreal thing at the time and I still find it funny in a kind of "so stupid it's hilarious" way. Anybody recognise this?
