If you can't tell I'm a huge fan of Felix The Cat. Occasionally I would go online and find every bit of information I can find of this fur ball. A search I've been doing for about a couple months now is finding as much Japanese Felix media that is out there. I read about commercials, games, products, etc. However I recently stumbled upon two articles mentioning how various Japanese channels were to air CG-animated public safety announcements featuring Felix. Using Google Translate we can assume that:
- They were around 30 seconds each.
- The commercials started airing on Thursday, October 1st, 2009.
- Aired on Japanese Family Channels (Family Gekijo, Star Channel, etc)
- Announcements that were made include Global Warming, Drunk Driving, Theft, etc.
- Were produced by Tohokushinsha Film Corporation.
