I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind for many years. I heard about this website through a YouTube channel I frequently watch called BlameitonJorge. When I was a kid, I had watched an educational series of videos known as the “Awesome (insert some big object)” that had music made by musician Michael (or Mike) Lynch. His music was featured in Awesome Road Construction, Awesome Trains, Awesome Building Construction, Awesome Big Rigs, Awesome Motorcycles, America By Rail in collaboration with Railway & Greg Scholl Video Productions just to name a few. I watched all of them and was completely mesmerized by the songs throughout the videos. Last December I tried to look him up and was able to. Sadly he died in early 2018 from a rare form of stomach cancer which put me at a standstill until I was able to speak with his widow and asked if he was the musician who did the music for America By Rail and the Awesome series. She spoke to me a few days later about it. She had said he was the person who did it and I asked about obtaining the music that was never released to the public only through the videos he composed. She stated in the reply how it was a nice collaboration and he enjoyed working on it. However she further stated “The only copies of the videos produced are VCR tapes. It’s been so many years that I don’t even know if Railway Productions or Greg Scholl Video Productions is still viable or the music available. I will save your information and contact you if I discover anything that would help you”. And she left it at that. Four months have gone by and I still haven’t heard anything back about the music at all and unfortunately no leads. I was wondering if you could get involved in this and try to help me out by obtaining the lost music and uploading it to Youtube or some music sharing site like Soundcloud with the permission of his widow. Here are some links to his music site but there is absolutely no way I can download the music and everything on the site is nothing but dead links – basically a cemetery for a website of a bygone era.
Here’s one link on his bio if it works:

Here are some of his videos from the Awesome series on YouTube. The audio may not be clear, but hopefully you’ll be able to hear the catchy tunes.

Note that at the end of the credits the narrator’s name is always changed to make it sound humorous with names like “Mike Aboose” or “Johnny Steampipe” in the Awesome Trains. My belief is that the narrator of the videos is Greg James who is the producer of them. I could be wrong though. I have also included another of his videos similarly made but not in the series “I Wanna Be A Rail Engineer” in the last link.
Here is some of his music from the America By Rail series:

That’s just a few. You can look up the rest of them on YouTube by typing in America By Rail music.
Well that’s everything with the music. I have included the email to his widow Colleen which is right here.
Her email is collene@musictrack.us
I’d like you to hopefully try to obtain the music by getting in touch with her via this email and seeing if there is anything she can try to do. Try to mention her the dead links to download the music. See what you can do, I really hope you can try to obtain this music because these songs have been buried and probably forgotten by most people. This music for the most part is considered lost to the sands of time. If you can try to successfully obtain the music from the producer, I’ll probably shed a few tears.
Someone please try to get back to me on this because I’ve searched for these songs for years and have easily ended up at dead ends.
Thank You
Also, I wonder what happened to the producer Greg James and his daughter Amy. I wonder what she’s doing today in life. I’d like to interview both of them on their take on the series and the music left behind. Maybe you can try to find them for me too. They live in the metro Seattle area and the entirety of the Awesome series was filmed in the state of Washington in the 90s.
