This is for possible lost media reasons, but I thought it would fit better here since it's technically asking an off topic question.
I remembered the Email I used as well as the password during a time when I might have signed onto a site that I've been looking for for ages now that no one seems to remember. This account might have the name and even a link to the site.
Though I have the password, I get a prompt to send in a code from another Email. I do have this Email, but when I sign onto that one I get the same prompt from an Email that was from a family member but I don't know which one or if they still have access to it.
Their help center costs $4.99/mo which I don't want to spend just to glance at my Email to see if it has the lost media i'm looking for (plus I've been having hearing issues anyway), and I tried messaging their Twitter and they said I'd have to use that help center.
So yeah I feel like I'm so close to possibly finding this thing but I'm stuck, does anyone have any other ideas to try?
So the terrible thing about yahoo email is that if you're not active in a certain amount of time, they basically delete the email itself. All of my yahoo emails are gone because of this. But, if you're trying to get into another site by using the email, not all is lost. I recovered a youtube account by changing the emails over and that somehow worked? Getting into the email itself if it's been inactive is very unlikely as yahoo deletes it over time, getting into a different site through that yahoo email is still possible though.

Oh dang that's terrible, what's the time frame?
The issue is though that I can't remember the site name, just the premise, and it was obscure and it might not still be around, but it was still an important community to me and that's why I've been trying to find it. I was hoping that the Email would have a link or at least the name of the site.

So according to Google, you have about 12 months before the email is deleted. If you're trying to find an old community, I'd try plugging in keywords in a search engine and seeing if you can uncover it that way. You can even alter your search results to only cover certain decades (with mixed results). Unless you've been active in the last 12 months.

Wow, that's such a small time frame. I have tried looking up keywords with a time frame, but unfortunately I haven't gotten any relevant results. Thank you though!

No probs! Yeah I lost a ton of yahoo emails myself.
