Okay, so I got internet in late 2007, and back then browser-based flash games was popular. I remember stumbling across like a game collection website. And there is a game called MoonBase, a 3d flash game about an astronaut who is on the moon. It's like pretty simple from my memories, like you just walk on the moon and interacts with other objects, also there is Earth that you can jump on if you time your jetpack and jump right. After that I've became addicted to those 3D flash games, and found that MoonBase was created by Maid Marian Entertainment, and had a lot more of those in their own website (maidmarian.com). There are a lot of 3D social/mmorpg flash games in that website, like BattleTank (which had a sequel), a rat one that I can't remember its name, Colin's crazy careera, Sherwood Dungeon, club marian. Undoubtedly Sherwood Dungeon is the most popular game in there since it's still running and can be played.
Today I've typed in the website name but an error happened that said "This website is currently protecting itself from online attacks". Strangely, I got this error on all MaidMarian domains except sherwooddungeon.com , now can anyone tell me that this is just one time thing, or something cause we have to be quick, we're near the end of flash.
Sadly, all of Maid Marian games except Sherwood Dungeon were discontinued since the plugin they required to run in player browser's is no longer supported. Sherwood is still playable nowadays, as you mentioned, but unfortunately it lacks maintenance and updates. However, the community is still present in the game, interacting between them and role playing as it's possible to preserve the game fun. Essentially, Sherwood is nowadays a community-focused game, most likely a place where people go to chat and make new friends. I hope I've answered you.
