Unus Annus was a YouTube channel started by famous YouTube gamers Crank Gameplays and Markiplier that was closed last night. It was a unique channel in that it and its videos were planned to be deleted exactly a year after it was created, making it media that was designed to go lost. The channel's creators have threatened severe consequences if anybody tries to archive the channel's videos.
Disclaimer: I, myself, will not take part in any attempts to archive the channel's videos and will not be held responsible for any trouble you might get in trying to archive them.

Funny how there's a channel named, "Unus Annus Archives" that is just casually taking these videos. When the livestream ended and their content was deleted, that black screen was hitting different. I bet there's going to be a meme in the future stating, "KIDS TODAY WILL NEVER KNOW THE STRUGGLE OF SEEING THE END OF THIS CHANNEL"

Apparently the content that they posted was experimental content that they would never post on their main channels, such as eating the world’s hottest chip, milking goat, painting each other nude, and building an IKEA boat. I only found out about the channel minutes before it was deleted.

archive.org/details/unus-annus i don't think these are all of the videos but a good majority are here. i believe one of my friends was helping archive some too that aren't here, but didn't feel right having them on his hard drive so he is planning to send them over my way sometime soon

I mean, good luck with that I guess.
There's archival Reddits going on and I'm sure people have had the forethought to back stuff up before the final stream. So, I hope they have fun trying to shut all of that down, especially their own fans.
When you're as big as Markiplier, I don't really think it's possible to create intentionally lost media like that. Announcing that content is temporary will just lead to people downloading all of it. He might be able to keep it off of YouTube, but Vimeo and torrents exist.
Hoarding obscure self-published music on the off chance someone misses it.

Also archive.org along with Vimeo and torrents.
I foresee someone uploading a torrent of all the videos (maybe not the livestream, but the last few minutes of it only; not sure)
