Yeah, the new box art feels a bit too digital... I hope they will keep the visual supplements looking retro!

There's a update that they are going released original unaltered ROM online for free if the project funded.

It's nice that the physical reproduction cartridges shipping out right now and the eventual leak of the ROM of the SNES version of Socks the Cat Rocks the Hill will finally mark the end of an era of waiting for Jason Wilson (also known by his internet persona "DreamTR") to dump the game after he later passed it on to Nintendo Age forum user "MinusWorlds" with the promise of leaking the game to the public after a sucessful Kickstarter campaign. In spite of this victory, however, the Sega Genesis version of the game is still lost and no known prototypes of that version have still been found.

This year has so far has been a lucky start for finding lost video games, including this game's SNES version finally being shipped out on February 1st, a more functional build that allows players to play the other levels of the cancelled 2001-2002 PC/GameCube/PS2 game Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui on February 10th, and recently (as of this posting) a copy of the forgotten 1998 PC educational writing game Secret Writer's Society has been found and leaked to the internet by librarian Phil Salvador on March 15th.
