Hey all, I’m looking for a piece of media I saw when I was a kid, roughly the age of 7 or 8 in 2008-09. I remember the specific video looking older to me then what quality was available at the time, I’d be willing to guess late 80’s to mid 90’s for a range. The clip/episode was in the show Sesame Street and was shown to me in art class in either grade 2 or 3. I think it takes place in an art museum and I believe the characters referred to in the clip were the gangster characters (pretty positive one is named lefty), and I believe (seeing as it was art class) they were either stealing or selling stolen artwork. I remember vividly Big Bird saying something along the lines of “Wow! A real life Gangster!” And that quote made me laugh hard at the time and still to this day makes me chuckle when I tell the story. I did find references to some episode where one of the gangsters (I think he is named lefty?) sold Ernie a picture of elephants but I did find the clip and it was not the same one I saw. So I guess my questions are: A.) Does anyone know of this clip? B.) Can someone find the clip? And if both A & B are unknown C.) did my small child brain just make up this entire scenario? I’ve never had a vivid imagination but it was so long ago I don’t honestly have a clue! Any help would be appreciated.
