"The Wiggles Big Show" is a partially found concert film of the Australian children's music group, The Wiggles, at a concert believed to have taken place on 7-8 November 1997 at the Melbourne Sports & Exhibition Centre.
Song clips from this concert have been used by The Wiggles on various releases, such as TV Series and videos. For example, the 1998 release, Wiggle Time, showed three songs, seen here on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLKlQgyKLdM&ab_channel=TheWiggles
However, a full recording of the show has never been found and was not even thought to exist. That all changed in January 2020 when a user on YouTube by the name of "Stu Two" uploaded commercial breaks from the Australian Disney Channel in approximately 1999, seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHeVVU0grJo&ab_channel=StuTwo

It made the ground-breaking discovery that The Wiggles Big Show aired as a concert special on the Australian Disney Channel on one Sunday at 5:30pm in around September 1999 as part of a "Wiggly Weekend" alongside the now mostly found "The Wiggles at Disneyland Park". This commercial made many revelations, showing never before seen footage. Most importantly, it revealed that the concert opened with "We Like To Say Hello", a song which was previously never thought to have been performed live by the group.
Additionally, it is confirmed by this archived page from the Australian Disney website, that The Wiggles Big Show aired on Sunday 17th September 2000 at 5:30pm: web.archive.org/web/20001031152005/http://www.disney.com.au/DisneyChannel/playhouse/shows/wiggles/index.html
It is currently unknown whether this special also aired on the Disney Channel in the USA, and it is possible that it did.
There have been some claims to people having the footage, such as the YouTube user "Michael McCartney" who posted an image that was supposedly of unseen footage. However, it was found to be a poorly photoshopped composite of the footage that is found. Another user claimed to have contacted The Wiggles' management, and that they were told that this concert special was "not available for release." Another fan reached out to the director of the film who did not have the footage and recommended contacting The Wiggles' management.
This concert is a very important document of The Wiggles, as it shows them at what many fans believe to be the height of the powers in 1997, on their very first 'Big Show' or stadium tour, and could possibly uncover many rare songs and skits not previously thought to have been performed. And many of The Wiggles fans are desperate to see the complete special, with all the songs that were presented as well as interstitial skits.
Did anyone in Australia who had the Disney Channel (I believe it was available through the cable provider, Optus Vision) in the late 1990s or early 2000s make a recording of this concert special or have any information whatsoever about it?
Many thanks and best wishes.
