Ok so, let me know if anyone understands this I'm sure it sounds like gibberish...
I have a video, an ancient video, which is broken but not unplayable or the actual tape itself is broken, instead the part that connected one end of the tape to the...wheel? Whatever it's called? That came loose, and so all the tape is on the other "wheel" thingy? Does that make sense? The tape itself is undamaged as far as I can discern, in fact I remember it running fine the last time I watched it, it looked clear and everything. The video cassette is not damaged either, nor has it been "opened" or broken and it's not unable to fit into a machine, the only issue is that the tape is now on a single "wheel" or spinner. So is it possible, if I pay someone, to have it just unspooled and copied onto a disk or something? If I have the money, which I don't but if I did? Or perhaps even have someone "open" it and restore it to both spinners or wheels or whatever they're called? Or is it completely gone forever?
I'm literally praying to Jesus that it's somehow fixable ;_;)
Even if it isn't I'd probably just keep it to hold close to my heart and think about my memories, cause that's what OCD hoarding feels like.

Reading this it sounds like you are trying to repair a VHS tape right?
If you google "VHS Repair near me" you will find several stores that will happily repair your VHS for a small fee, (I did a google in my area and found a site that will fix for 5£ about 6$)
