What you see above the only recovered episode of the show known as "The Magic Box", a children's edutainment variety show that originates from New Zealand and lasted from 1992 to 1996
Most of us here in the US know it as part of the early years of TLC's now defunct "Ready Set Learn!" block
If anyone has episodes of this show apart from this one, please upload it to YouTube (or alternatively, both YT and Archive.org) for all to see

Hey, I'm bumping this thread because I've been trying to find leads for this show for years, and was considering making a lost media video about it to chronicle my searches. Now that we have this YouTube upload, I'll retool my video script to reflect how its existence is confirmed.

But yeah, they used to air this show on the U.S. in the '90s and I remember watching it with my younger sister, and we remarked on how cheesy and corny the special effects were (even back then)!
