Hi. I am back again for an update post. I know it has been a while but I have a lot to say.
First off, thank you olivialovespokemon for correcting me on the Watch Disney Junior availability of the show. I never used the Watch Disney Junior service back when it was still available, so I did not know that.
Second, I’d like to correct myself on when the Disney Junior channel aired reruns. According to the PB&J Otter Wiki, reruns aired from September 4th, 2012 to September 2nd, 2013, with the show briefly airing again in the first half of May 2014.
Third, 101 Dalmatians: The Series (the old 1997-1998 series, not to be confused with 101 Dalmatian Street although that’s on Disney+ as well) was added to Disney+ last month. The reason why I am mentioning this is because this show was a co-production between Disney Television Animation and Jumbo Pictures, just like Disney’s Doug(also on Disney+) and PB&J Otter.
Fourth, another Playhouse Disney show that may be hard to find, Higglytown Heroes, was added to Disney NOW back in May. It’s an old show(from the mid-2000s) so I’m surprised that it was added out of nowhere. Disney NOW seems to like to add and remove shows from the service with no warning, so it may be best to preserve the episodes while still possible if there’s no other official way to purchase or view the episodes. From what I can see, what is on Disney NOW isn’t the entire series, but it’s still a lot.
Lastly, last month I used Disney+’s support chat again to ask about PB&J Otter. I ended up getting in contact with two people. The person seemed to have good intentions but not know what they were talking about. The second person who got on understood my questions more clearly, and said the best way to request shows and movies you want to be on Disney+ is to use the help page survey form.
To request a show or movie, click on “give feedback”, click on “request a movie or show title”, and fill out the form provided. There should be three boxes to fill out. You can fill in just one or all three if you want to request several shows, such as Teamo Supremo for example.
Requesting shows this way is the most likely way the higher ups will see requests for shows like PB&J Otter.
I’ve seen posts on Twitter and what not of people wanting old Disney cartoons on Disney+, so clearly there’s demand for it. So next time someone mentions wanting *insert show here* on Disney+, tell them to use the feedback form! It’s our best shot at getting these kinds of shows official releases.
If worse comes to worse(Disney+ started off with a great initial lineup but has not added many older cartoons since then) and an official release never happens despite our efforts, then we’ll have to search for old VHS recordings of the show. The show had an even longer life in reruns than it did in its original run, which makes it all the more sad that many of the show’s episodes are lost. Reruns stopped airing on Playhouse Disney around 2004-ish, and I already mentioned the Disney Junior channel reruns, so the episodes were obviously aired many times, but it’s an obscure show so there’s likely not many surviving recordings out there. Either way, I’m considering to start VHS collecting myself just to get these episodes found.
If you read this post all the way through, thank you. This show means a lot to me and it’s great to know that other people care as well. Here’s hoping we can get the episodes found!
Thank you for this, logosfan2005 . I am quoting your post on the Teamo Supremo thread. Though I think it would be better if filling up the Disney+ form would go better with a viral campaign on social media to make the show/s available. Especially since residents in countries where Disney+ is not yet available can't access the form, such as myself.
Thank you for contacting Disney+ Customer Support. How may I assist you today?
Me: Hi, i am here to ask a question about something?
I would be happy to look into that for you. What is your question?
Ok, what is the question?
Me: So recently, there has been a group of people who are looking for this show, season 1 has been found while season 2 isnt. I know its up to Disney to add it in, but when is it gonna be added.
The name of the show is Teamo Supremo?
Me: Yes. It ran from 2002-2004
I don't show any of the season on disney+ right now.
Me: Its not on it, Season 1 has been found in its full form while season 2 isnt.
Where did you find season 1?
Me: Youtube i think. If you look up Teamo Supremo
Disney+ does not give out any future release date information further than the next month. So it is possible they will add it in the future if it is a disney show.
I could reasonably see a viral campaign to see the show be made available for streaming on Disney+ (along with a currently-active search effort thread like PB&J Otter), as I believe that Disney still owns the rights to both TV shows and since both of them have not aired on TV for a long time or have been made available on any other streaming services.
But I would advise you to be careful on not going too overboard on your demands on making the show available on the streaming platform by not spamming every unrelated Disney+ social media posts on various accounts with your campaign to make it available to stream on the platform as it would annoy others that wanted to discuss the movie/TV show/short that the original social media post was promoting. I also know that Disney+ is still not available in every country yet*, but I think that situation will change in about one or two years of the service's life span.
For right now, I would suggest contacting Disney+'s Help Center and giving them feedback to add this show to their streaming platform.
*At the time of this post, Disney+ is currently available in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States (including Puerto Rico).

Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.

Happy Brian, what is your reaction to a strategy like this? Contact those involved in the production, get them to post about the show on social media, and then get those posts to a wider audience.
