Many people saw a few times the Trix Rabbit's best disguise to get a box of Trix cereal, only to realize he has no milk, "outraging" those who don't like the kids.
This ad, while breaks logic of some Trix commercials, was the California Milk Board's (dairy processors division's) first official attempt at co-branding, after a few unofficial product placements for General Mills cereals like Wheaties in "Baby & Cat".
However, uploading videos has gotten so high tech that the original California version has commonly floated on YouTube. The only other version that had a different name was the "Dairy Farmers of Washington" titles in a wavy VHS rip titled "Harland Williams Trix etc. etc.".
Many, though, saw the "America's Dairy Farmers" version, and through endless looks at commercial break videos, there is ZERO evidence that the America's Dairy Farmers version on YouTube that it appeared on a break. "Diner" shows up frequently vice versa, which means it's California version is scarce unless it was found in a local California break.

Back to Trix. Because of the wavy-encoded VHS version with an alternate localization title, and talks with my cousin almost 15 years ago he saw the "America's Dairy Farmers" version on a Detroit station or cable channel in the 90s. I've also seen numerous listings with numerous titles of various "Got Milk" commercials on the Chicago TV Museum website archives way back when, a copy with any version of "Sponsored by REAL(R) America's Dairy Farmers" exists.
Possibly it was rarely shown, as DMI may or may not want to be involved in a California Trix co-branding. Also a promotion for a T-shirt recreating the final shot of the ad was about to expire, so having it not run on TV for very long was probably a smart move. Dairy checkoff ads have a budget, y'know....
I am adamant that the titles do exist on this ad, it's just buried or taped over.
