Around 2006 or so I remember playing a handheld system which I don't know the name of.
It had some similarities to the Tiger game.com such as a monochrome touch screen with a stylus pen, but it had a bunch of games pre-installed on it, compared to the game.com having just a solitaire game. I don't think it had any cartridge slots, or any of the other features the game.com had.
The only game I remember from this system is a Connect 4 game, specifically the animations after either player wins. If the human player wins you get a smiley face giving the thumbs-up (I think), and if the computer wins, you get a similar face (looking pretty lumpy compared to the win screen) avoiding a tidal wave.
I think some maths games might have also been on the system, but again the Connect 4 game is the only thing I really remember from it.
Again I don't remember the name of the system, but I don't think it was the game.com. In fact I looked up "game.com connect 4" to see if the game.com had a game like that, and came up with nothing.
That sounds like it could be something in the Pixter line of consoles. There are several versions, some monochrome and some in color, and the console itself comes in different colors. Does this look somewhat similar?

Hoarding obscure self-published music on the off chance someone misses it.

Again, I remember it looking more like the game.com (though it might be one of those false memories), but that might still be it.
I'll have to check it out tomorrow as it is past my bedtime.
