This may go in the "lesser-known" category, I'm not sure. But apparently, when Blockbuster Video stores got a Pokémon Snap Station kiosk, they also received two VHS cassettes featuring visual instructions on how to set it up. I first read about this on their Amazon listing, which is apparently no longer listed (it may be archived on the Wayback Machine, but I have no idea how to find it that way, because searches obviously don't work on archived versions of their sites, and the search results pages themselves are typically not archived, or are archived in a way that's too specific to help you). But I was able to find a mention of the tapes here:
One of the thread's participants claims to own them, though he offers no proof.
Going back to the Amazon listing, it was always unavailable. I never once saw any Marketplace sellers offering it. I have also never seen an eBay listing for the Pokémon Snap Station itself that includes these tapes, and I have seen a handful of people selling the kiosk there (often repurposed by Nintendo into a Pokémon Stadium Station, which allowed you to print screenshots of battles in Pokémon Stadium; unrepurposed kiosks are somewhat rarer than these).
So do you think these actually exist? If so, what's the best way to find them? I know they probably don't have the most exciting content, but it's a nice little oddity that's currently missing.

That's super interesting! I love old tech support or job orientation VHS tapes XD
Why I myself don't know anything about these, I think one of the first steps to take in finding it would be to try and contact people who have mentioned the VHS somehow. I noticed that thread you linked was from 2005, though its definitely worth a shot to try and contact the person who mentioned it. I have a friend who still uses their old AOL email, so it's definitely possible for them to answer you.
Also maybe find forums, groups, and pages dedicated to Blockbuster-related stuff? That way, you may find more former employees who know what this is and may have a lead on finding one. I'll do a little research myself when I have time!

Good luck on your search!!
It's interesting that you brought up former Blockbuster employees. I once went to a garage sale around 2010 or 2011 that was obviously being run by a former employee whose store just closed. It was mostly relatively recent stuff, though - a cardboard standee of the Hulk from the 2008 movie, for example. A poster for a DVD of a few Spider-Man (1994) episodes was the oldest thing I remember (the DVD was released in 2002). Still, it gives hope for more opportunities like this.
Probably not related, but I'm willing to help in this search. I'll get back to you if I find anything.
I didn't have time to elaborate before. I was specifically referring to those two tapes on the second shelf from the bottom of the display. Neither is in a box or case, and one of them doesn't even have a label. I can't think of any reason for such a thing to be on display in a Blockbuster Video store, unless perhaps they are indeed these tapes and they're being kept there for easy access by the employees in case maintenance instructions are needed.
Upon closer inspection, though, I doubt this is actually a Blockbuster store. Note the JapanesePokémon Snap box on the far right of the same shelf. Not to mention post-2000 movies visible on the shelves (I spy with my little eye The Lion King 1 1/2). I think it’s just a Blockbuster fan’s collection set up in imitation of a store, perhaps the same guy I mentioned before who said he had the tapes, so those may still be them.

Oooh, okay. I get it. That's a good find, it's a possibility. I've seen that setup before it's pretty rad. Anyhow, I did some digging on I Hate Blockbuster forum and I see no mention anywhere of Pokemon Snap training tapes by alleged employees on there. I can try to get in contact with some of them, but most people on there haven't posted since 2013. Does anybody know any former Blockbuster employees? That would be the best place to start I think.

Hey, I just saw this thread and I think I might be able to help. There’s a local game store here that has a Pokemon Snap station. I’ve used it before and it still works great. Next time I’m over there I can ask them if they have the video. They were still giving away the cards they used for the machine back in the 90s so there’s a chance they might have it.
So I went by the game store yesterday and asked the owner about the set-up video. The owner said he heard of it the tape but their station didn’t come with one. He got it from a friend who got it from someone else years ago. Sorry I wasn’t able to help out the search much. I’ll try to keep an eye out for anything else on it.

Huh. This is interesting. So it's likely the tape exists. Maybe we could get in touch with someone at Nintendo? It seems like a long-shot though, but maybe we can get in touch with a former employee or marketing manager.

I doubt anyone that still works at Nintendo nowadays would have it, if anything it would be deep in their archives. Still, ex employees could have one. The credits for Pokémon Snap could also give some leads. Does it mention the Station at all in the credits?

The credits, for the North American version of the game anyway, don’t mention it. And the credits present in the data of the Station are just a cut-and-paste duplicate of the English version credits.
Japan also had Snap Stations of some sort, but even if someone was credited for those, they probably had nothing to do with the American kiosks and as a result would know nothing about these tapes.
These guys do pop up every now and then, but what's notable about this specific listing (aside from the insane price,) is how pristine and complete it is. It includes unopened boxes of the stickers and the kiosk itself looks like-new.
It makes me wonder if they may also have the installation tape? Contacting people who have the kiosk listed may be a good idea as the person selling it may have worked at or owned a blockbuster. Hopefully this helps lol

Good find! Also can’t wait to see the video, huge fan of your channel.

That is WAY more expensive than I've ever seen them before. I've seen them listed around $1,500.
