Was wondering if anyone can help me find this CN PSA from Safe Kids Worldwide.
Basically, it has the PPG teaching Mojo about swimming safety, like swimming with a buddy for example. (That buddy being Fuzzy Lumkins)
And I remember some parts of it like:
- Narrator: Ah, the lake. It’s so... MOJO?!?
(The girls appear behind Mojo)
Blossom: Not so fast, Mojo Jojo!
- The girls trying to give floaties to Mojo
- Buttercup: And always swim with a buddy!
- Narrator: Say, thanks to The Powerpuff Girls!
Mojo: Marco.
Fuzzy: Polo!
That’s basically all I remember about this PSA. It used to be on YouTube from a 2004 commercial break on Cartoon Network, but is no longer up there from what I assume.
Oh wow that sounds really familiar. The closest I can find is this sunscreen commercial: youtu.be/nPnqDeDPhh4
Could it have possibly been related to the sunscreen commercial? Like they had another commercial that talked about swimming safety? Maybe a reach but I wouldn't be surprised if it was connected.

I found something for PSAs that was related to the Powerpuff Girls but it was just Cartoon Network pumping out PSAs for multiple cartoons back in march

Yeah that is definitely making the search harder. Even looking up safe kids worldwide doesn't yield much

Another thing I know about it is that it aired during the time Cartoon Network introduced a new logo (on June 14, 2004), and a new era, dubbed the “City” era.

Hmmm, I wonder if it's hidden within one of those cartoon Network city bumper complimations on youtube then🤔

I know exactly what promo you are talking about. I watched Cartoon Network religiously in the early to mid 2000s. Wasn’t Mojo wearing a Speedo? I think they also said something like “make sure you have adult supervision” and they plop the Professor down in a chair. With that being said, I have no idea where to find it. I haven’t seen it in years.

Bruh. I don't remember this PSA, but Speedo JoJo MUST be found and shared with the world again. It's only right.
In all seriousness, if you have Twitter, you might have some luck asking Craig McCracken or Lauren Faust about it. They are super cool and have answered fan questions in the past when they were able to. They might know about it or possibly even worked on it to some extent.
It's different from a PSA, but once a fan was discussing a PPG bumper on Tumblr. McCracken reblogged it and added that he storyboarded it. That post is here. His tumblr is pretty dead now, but he and Faust are still active on Twitter. If they are available to answer the question, you might be able to at least get more details on the PSA.

i think it had the girls saying some stuff like adult supervision and always have sun screen and mojo was thrown into the water. It also had something which was called "a fresno"

Honestly, the part with the girls saying you should always have sunscreen is kinda ironic, since in the episode “Sun Scream”, the girls refuse to use sunscreen, and end up sunburned
