Se:Side was a Bubblegum Dance/Pop group formed in Sweden around 2005 and mostly active and popular in Germany, best known for their singles "This 1's 4 U", released in 2005 and "Kamboleo (The Drums Of Africa)", released in 2006. In early 2007, their debut album, "This 1's 4 You", was announced on their official website, as a 12 track album release, which was scheduled to be released in most of Europe and Asia, however, despite the album being finished, it seems to have been shelved at the last minute. Despite this, it is believed the album could be released in some countries, either officially or unofficially, as clips of some songs have mysteriously surfaced online on some Russian websites. Also, an album song called "Waiting For A Hero" ended up in a type of unofficial compilation in Russia in 2007 or 2008.
My friend and I were able to dig up an ideal track list for the debut album, listed below in alphabetical order.
Can You Feel It Ecstasy Gonna Have A Party Heat Of The Night How Deep Is Your L.O.V.E. Kamboleo (The Drums Of Africa) Rescue Me Summerlove This 1's 4 U This Song's For You Waiting For A Hero
As the website said 12 songs were supposed to be on the debut album, we think the 12th track could most likely be a remix track.
If anyone has any idea of how we might find this album, or has this album or any missing songs in any format, please contact us and let us know, it would be greatly appreciated!
The track How Deep Is Your L.O.V.E. has 2 scrobbles on Last.FM (under two separate typo-ridden titles, but still), but I can't find any way to see who the listener(s) of it are. I guess they took that feature out with the new beta update. Ick. Here are the track pages, just in case anybody figures out how to obtain that information from the site data or something (assuming we did find the listener, we could send them a message asking more info on it and where they got it): www.last.fm/music/Se-Side/_/How+Deep+Is+You+Love and www.last.fm/music/Se-Side/_/How+Deep+Is+You+L.O.V.E.
Also, what is/was their website that they announced this on? It's really hard to find anything about this band.
Yep, it's found - goodness, this thread is old. The OP is a friend of mine, and we'd been looking for this album for a while. He eventually found it on eBay (when we weren't even sure if it was released at all!), I bought and ripped it, OP got it onto YouTube. Team effort!
