There's 2 interesting pieces of material from the Sonic Movie that (to my knowledge) are currently lost. One is a 3 minute short that was made to pitch the Sonic Movie to Paramount according to the CEO of Paramount, James N. Gianopulos, deadline.com/2018/06/jim-gianopulos-paramount-sonic-the-hedgehog-produced-by-conference-1202406289/. Only stuff from it that exists are the script, and the plot which is that Tom and Maddie (named Annie at the time) are on a date and Sonic crashes it, twitter.com/sienduk, aawesomepenguin.tumblr.com/post/189300180659/and-here-are-some-pages-from-the-short-film (warning: Script is in some other language, my guess is Russian. Probably from a foreign dub).
The other, less important, lost media is the Robotnik trailer that was shown at Cinemacon 2019. The journalists that attended described the trailer as, "Robotnik attends a meeting of military personnel at the Pentagon to discuss a power surge in the Pacific Northwest, facing off against a general played by Neal McDonough. Robotnik is also shown with Marsden's Tom, then there's a sequence of him dancing and Carrey demonstrating his slapstick comedy skills. Though in much of the footage Carrey has a full head of hair along with the handlebar mustache, there is a brief shot in this second clip where he's depicted with a bald head standing in a post-apocalyptic setting" (source: screenrant.com/sonic-hedgehog-movie-cinemacon-footage-details/). Though a Youtuber by the name of sleepi recently recreated the trailer as previously described, www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=68&v=L0-0B3QowCo&feature=emb_title.
Unfortunately, press releases for the Sonic Movie's home media release do not include either of these in the list of special features, collider.com/sonic-the-hedgehog-digital-4k-bluray-release-date-details-bonus-content/?utm_campaign=collidersocial&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter, so hopefully they can be recovered some other way (as unlikely as that may be).
