Hey guys. I know it has been a while since the last update on this thread, but I think I found something important regarding the Rocket Beach pilot. I did a reverse image search on the still image of Twister from Rocket Beach and after looking at the results, I found another image of Twister from the pilot along with a GIF of Twister from the pilot. The second image of Twister is the same as the image found by Joey! except Twister's mouth is open. Here they are below.

Hello guys. I went to New York City for winter vacation this week and during my days there, I was able to go to the Paley Center for Media to watch Rocket Beach. I can tell you that the pilot is around 4-5 minutes long. I can confirm several things from the pilot that I have watched. First of all, the listing for Rocket Power in the Paley Center for Media website is indeed the listing for the pilot. The pilot is a video recorded and narrated by Twister. In one of the scenes from the pilot, Twister is seen in a classroom being laughed at by the other students after getting a "D" on an assignment. The teacher warns Twister that if he fails a video project that he is assigned to do, he will have to go to summer school. Twister starts filming and introduces his friends and all the activities they do like skateboarding and snowboarding. Sam in this pilot is voiced by the same actor who voiced Twister in the show. In the snowboarding scene, Reggie takes Twister's camera and runs away with it while the camera is still recording, with Twister telling Reggie to give the camera back to him (this scene is partially shown in the Rocket Power theme song). We then see Twister and his friends eat at a restaurant where Raymundo Rocket works. Raymundo looks different from his final design. In the pilot, Raymundo wears a white sailor cap instead of a fisherman hat in the show. He also wears a striped tank top in the pilot instead of a polo shirt in his final design. Three minutes into the pilot, the end credits show up for the remaining minute not long before the Klasky Csupo outro plays followed by the Nickelodeon outro where one of Reggie's lines is played in the background.
Finally, I can confirm that the title card for the unaired pilot is actually used in the Rocket Power theme song.
This is the Rocket Beach title card from the Rocket Power theme song:
The Klasky Csupo outro used in the pilot is the same one used in this footage taken after the end credits of The Wild Thornberrys:

I have been out of the loop because I never heard of an unaired pilot for Rocket Power. I guess that would explain why they looked different in the opening. Ha ha
So I might’ve figured out why nick has been hesitant with showcasing this pilot on any sort of platform and/or putting it on any sort of Rocket Power related home media release...
You know the electronic music playing in the background in the low quality Nick.com clip? That’s from a song called “Vapor trail” by “The crystal method” youtu.be/gNXLCDOC9NQ (the part of the song used in the Nick.com clip is at 4:15)
On Another surfaced clip from the Nickelodeon 20th birthday montage (0:34) another part of “Vapor Trail” can be briefly heard in the background of that clip. youtu.be/59CKUBRWz4M
If the two clips tie in together, it’s implied that this copyrighted track plays throughout a majority (or even the entirety) of the pilot.
So it’s most likely that because of licensing issues from this music track this pilot is stuck in limbo...
Hello everyone. It has been almost two and a half years since my last post on this thread. First of all, I would like to apologize for my absence since I have been busy dealing with things in my personal life. Also, I would like to thank those who have tried their best to contribute to this thread. As time went on, there was an unlikely chance that we will ever get to see the pilot. But then out of nowhere on December 7, 2022 a YouTuber by the name of Zander Perez uploaded what seems to be a bootlegged version of the full unaired Rocket Beach pilot to YouTube. The video and audio are in poor quality as it was recorded from a smartphone. According to the uploader, he went to the Paley Center for Media and the people working there allowed him to record the pilot and show it to the public. Even though I am a tad bit unsure if the Paley Center for Media allowed him to record the pilot, it is still fascinating that the pilot has finally been found. While we can still hope for a high quality version of Rocket Beach sometime in the future, this low quality version of the pilot will have to do. The footage of the pilot can be found below. Until next time, take care.
