I've been looking around for more info on this live program that aired I think on Nick in the 90's. No recordings or clips online either. I got off the phone with the guy in charge of licensing at Dick Clark Productions, who produced it, and basically the program is owned by Seaworld and and the original 1" tape is probably at the distributor, but there is no hope of them releasing it due to the money and time it would take just to clear rights and all for home media distribution so there is no hope on the official end. The only chance of finding it at this point is someone's VHS recording. Anyone know anything?
Only info I have been able to find is newspaper and TV guide excerpts saying that it will be on tv.
""Party for the Planet" (8 p.m.-9 p.m., WJZ, Channel 13) -- Jane Seymour, Chris Evert, Paula Poundstone, David Hasselhof, Jonathan Brandis and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are among the guests on a special from Sea World and Busch Gardens in Florida that celebrates what youngsters are doing to save the environment. CBS."
From Baltimore Sun.
I haven't been able to find any photos. The director, Tom Blessing, supposedly still has the production binder but there is no tape.
