Apparently, around 1998, when The Rugrats Movie was in theaters, they played a CatDog theatrical short titled “Fetch”, which would later air on Nickelodeon as part of the show’s second season.
The short (as sourced from the CatDog wiki) is basically about Cat winning a prize, and has five minutes to call the radio station. But Winslow throws a ball to bring Dog to chase it all over the town while Cat tries to get the phone.
The short was known for having a higher budget, seeing as it was a theatrical short, rather than an episode of the show.
For some reason, a different episode of CatDog, “Winslow’s Home Videos”, replaced the short on the VHS release of The Rugrats Movie, and no screenshots from the theatrical print exist.
