I rise from the ashes. Only to fall back in again.
Howdy folks! You may have noticed this thread has been dead for a while, and in that time, the number of articles in need of work has become much larger... The main reason why I'm writing this now, and why I just updated the main post, is that we're currently at 199 pages in the Needing Work category. Once that number hits 201, the list of those articles will finally spill over into 2 pages. Let's try to prevent that from happening.
You've probably also noticed the "volunteer system" that's been talked about is currently in limbo... I'm not going to make any empty promises about when that will roll around, but for the time being we'd really appreciate any help we can get in fixing these articles. Staff is doing all we can get things up to site standard, but we can't do it alone. And if intrinsic motivation doesn't work for you... then, uh, if you fix an article I'll poorly draw your avatar in MS Paint with a computer mouse. First person to properly fix up 5 articles, I'll mail you a free copy of Wario Land 3 (cart only, supplies limited).
Writing-wise this page wasn't in need of work, but thank you for adding the infobox! I encourage everyone to add these if they notice an article that doesn't have one - it takes just a few seconds to copy the code from the Rules page, and it really makes an article look better.

The article has always had categories, so I don't know about that... As for the shortness, I'd prefer if it gave some details on what the original media was actually about, but since info on the animation itself is scarce and we have so many articles that are worse off, I'll refrain from adding it to the list until we've taken care of those first. Still, if someone does properly flesh it out, I'll give credit for it in the main post.
Article Name: COBI: Small Army (Rare Lego-knockoff video game; 2002) Edited?: (Yes) (No) Categories: Lost Video Games Summary: Added infobox. Also fixed a bit of the grammar. The person who made this wrote the word are where the word is was supposed to be, Link: lostmediawiki.com/COBI:_Small_Army_(Rare_Lego-knockoff_video_game;_2002)
Article Name: The Adventures of Snelgrove Snail (lost Canadian puppet TV series; 1980) Edited?: (yes) (no) Catagories: None Summary: I added an infobox. The page is syill lazily written, there is still 0 catagories, and everything is still 1 paragraph. The infobox is a step in the right direction though. Thanks! Though just to clarify, the only edits I'm counting towards the main post and the Wario Land thing will be the ones that are extensive/complete enough that the Needing Work tag can be removed. But still, here is your MS Paint icon:
(also, that article already had categories as well.. are you sure you're looking in the right place?)
I've come up with a way to implement the volunteer system. If you fix up 5 articles and then report back to me, I will give you a volunteer badge. You will then retain the badge for as long as you continue to help with article corrections and whatnot.
Additionally, all volunteers will also get the VIP badge and, therefore, access to the VIP board.

Awesome!!! I've added this to the OP, thank you!
Not sure if I'll keep up the MS Paint thing now that Dycaite's added an incentive that actually makes sense... but since I said I would, here you go:
(also, I've removed loseratfinding's edits from the OP - no offense to him and his hard work, it just wasn't needed anymore since he's a staff member now. as bernie said, this is primarily for you guys' edits, not ours )
If I get MS Paint icons and Volunteer, then I'm doing my fifth article.
Also, it's one I've already posted here as unedited, so here we go I guess.
Article Name: My Peoples (Cancelled Disney Animated Film; Late 1990s-Early 2000s) Edited?: (Yes) (No) Categories: Lost animation; Lost films; Needing Work Summary: Actually edited this a while ago. Trimmed some fat, and reworded a few blatantly stolen parts. Link: lostmediawiki.com/My_Peoples_(Cancelled_Disney_Animated_Film;_Late_1990s-Early_2000s)
Let's see if I get the rank...
EDIT: I did! Thanks Dycaite, now I just need the MS Paint icon.

(congrats, btw!!! since you're the first one to earn volunteer status, i will keep my promise. if you want wario land 3, msg me with a shipping address. if you don't want it or don't feel comfortable with that, no worries, i can buy you a cheap ($5 or less) steam game or something instead. not gonna be doing any more of these offers after this one though lol, it's not a sustainable model)

Nice! Added them to the OP, thank you!
(sad to say but this will be the LAST ms paint avatar i will do for this. it was fun while it lasted, but despite me starting it for the sake of getting this to move faster, now it's just slowing things down as it takes me more than twice the time to update the thread. sorry to anyone else who wanted one )

Warning: this will become rather flooded over the next few days as a result of me deciding to help the community and I apologize if I make any consecutive posts. Also I'll be having formatting issues with how you admins want these posts and I apologize. As you know, the forums aren't very mobile phone friendly.

Added to main post, thanks (I fixed up the page a little more to fully remove the tag - there's nothing wrong with a page being short, so long as it's short because there's nothing else to put there)

Thanks, added to main post (I deleted the Finding Nemo page since the game was never lost, but since you made it actually readable while it was up, I still gave you credit for it) Also, since you've fixed up 5 articles, you now qualify for Volunteer status. If you have any interest in that, feel free to message dycaite about it
