Howdy. First post on the forum, so lemme know if I do anything goofy. I doubt I'm gonna find anything because of how old this is and how I'm sure absolutely no one was in a rush to somehow archive this stuff. Really, this is just a post to see if anyone else, like, remembers this thing and might have a spare screencap.
Back in the early 2000s, there was this site called Everythinggirl.com. Before Barbie was the only doll under the company to have flash games and such, it was a site shared by other similar properties: MyScene, Pixel Chix, Polly Pocket. The works.
But there was also an exclusively-online character called Pippa. She was this little blonde fairy with a winged yellow sidekick of some kind. I forget its name. Point is: she was attached to this thing called PowerPets, which was essentially the same as every early digital pet website: you got a pet, you fed it, watched it grow, and played flash games with it.
It was absolutely darling. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with. But while a lot of the old flash games for the dolls (especially MyScene and Polly Pocket) and a chunk of the pages with Pippa have been carefully archived, PowerPets didn't have as much luck. Probably because you needed an account to get in.
In hindsight, it probably wasn't good. But it sure as hell existed and sure as hell is lost now. Tracking it through Google only gives you trademarks. Tracking it through the web archive is probably rough too, because again, you'd need an account.
Here're some pics to prove it, like, existed.
Again, I'm not exactly expecting much. Just thought I'd add this to the pile of beloved kids' games that have been more or less vaporized, haha.
