This is a really controversial piece of Lost Media..... probably a Not Safe for Life type.
So, if you guys remember, back in 2012, a so-called movie "trailer" was uploaded onto Youtube (2 versions, actually), featuring anti-Islamic content and eventually caused a shitstorm online and around the world. There were protests everyone and the producer had gone into hiding. The uploader of those videos was named "sam bacile", otherwise known as Mark Basseley Youssef or Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.
The 2 versions of this video were called "The Real Life of Muhammad" and "Muhammad Movie Trailer" and were uploaded to YouTube on July 1 and 2, 2012 respectively. The differences between both of these uploads are that The Real Life of Muhammad has a running time of 13:03 and is in 480p format and Muhammad Movie Trailer has a running time of 13:51 and is in 1080p format.
So, why do I post this here? Because there was a version of this "trailer"that was dubbed in Arabic and was uploaded in September of the same year.. Also, The Real Life of Muhammad seems to be blocked worldwide (or something like that). The Arabic version was made private days later.
This is the link to The Real Life of Muhammad on YouTube (which is Geoblocked in my country):
Dude...... I only want it to be found because of Archival purposes, not to be involved in that kind of stuff.
Regardless of your intentions, the more people who see this film the better!
You are right on that one. Only one of the versions is publicly viewable though. Arabic version was removed and the other English version is geoblocked.
Good. Spread this far and wide. Muslims are one of the only major populations in the world that tries to suppress freedom of speech through terror.
Well, isn't that kinda racist? I know a lot of Muslims and they're really nice. I'm not trying to start a flamewar or anything, but that's kinda like saying that Christians are a bunch of racist white whores. (They're not.)

Just a correction, It's not racist to talk bad about Muslims. The correct term is Islamophobic or Muslimphobic. Some people use Xenophobic as well in Western countries, where Muslims are a minority.
Muslims are followers of Islam and not every Muslim is an Arab and not every Arab is a Muslim.

Its not racist because Muslims aren't a race. You might say its bigoted but mostly what I'm against is censorship with the threat of violence.

Yes, it is racist, because you try to equate "Muslim" = Arabs.
First off, Islam, in its purest form, is an Abrahimic religion with many forms and offshots. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Islam, but I very well understand that Islam is practiced in various nations with pretty distinct populations. Tunisia, Morocco, Albania, Turkey, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, etc are pretty distinct nations with differing traditions, cultures, nations. It's pretty asinine to say "all Muslims hate free speech" if you look at it this way.
Most "Islamic terrorism" is derived from Wahhabism, which originated in Saudi Arabia (rather ironic they're paying the price for birthing the ideology), and is typically opposed by a lot of Muslims (which, makes sense, since these are Saudi ideas). Also, this ignores the fact that ethnicity/culture has even greater effect on Middle East politics than does religion (see: Azerbaijan, the Kurds, etc).
The "Muslims" aren't the only group out there with a hard-on to suppress freedom of speech. The Russians are doing a very good job of persecuting homosexuals and influencing European elections. Ultracon Christians constantly try to force literal Biblical ideas in order to influence policies on sexual education, abortion, etc and of course, this pisses other Christians off, like Wahhabism does to Muslims for pretty obvious reasons. The Chinese are doing a very good job at expanding their power in places like Africa. Daesh is actually kind of a joke within this scope.
When did I say all Muslims were Arabs? I certainly didn't. I think you misread a post by someone else in this thread. Nobody said that.
Yes, I know that Muslims are a very diverse group but my issue is the censorship that some of them are trying to impose on Western societies through the threat of violence, such as the murder of Theo Van Gogh and the massacre in France because a magazine had a drawing of Mohammed. I believe it is for this reason that the movie in question is being suppressed, and that's what I'm against.
Censorship is not limited to Muslim societies but even the so-called moderate ones, like Malaysia, pervasively practice it. I'm not against all Muslims, but I am against people like this:
