Not likely. I have cataloged all of them on a personal google sheets. Almost all of them are labelled, and pretty much all NBC stuff is mid to late 1990's, with Seinfeld and Homicide: Life on the Street dominating.
That sucks. I know NBC stopped airing Saturday morning cartoons in 1992, so Space Cats might've aired on some other channel by this time.
Yeah. Its a shame. Most of the NBC stuff would have been my parents. I know my Dad recorded a lot of MTV but all that stuff is under copyright protection because of all the songs and all that. Some HBO stuff is definitely there but nothing that is probably too "lost". There was part of a series recorded called "String-A-Longs" which taught you how to play guitar. If anyone is interested, I can provide the google sheets if anyone wants to check to see if a certain thing is on there. I dunno if it would be.

Oooooh I want the google sheets!
Note: Ignore any color on the numbers, but any yellow on the words means that it is unknown what is on there (probably late 90's) and any red/purple on the text means it is home movies.

I highly doubt it. it would also probably take forever to check. Most likely it is only popular NBC shows and the news from back then. If it is the news, I will probably rip it onto the hard drive and upload it to archive.org. I plan to gradually go through that stuff but I don't have hope of finding something interesting.

Oh, wow - could you rip the "Seinfeld" series finale? I'd be so grateful for that. I haven't seen the original NBC broadcast anywhere.
Lemme see what I can do. Dunno if I can legally upload it anywhere. If I do do it today, can you provide your email, so if I do do it, I don't need to publish it somewhere.

Yes. I will see if the conversion can be done this weekend. Send an email to ethan.m.parmet@gmail.com. I have a project due Friday so I can't do it today.

So, should I send my e-mail?
I will wait for your email. When you respond, I will plan for the conversion. It shouldn't take too long, but I will let you know if there is any trouble with the process.

That series finale is probably the exact same as the one currently online, only in lower quality. It ain't really interesting to me unlike Space Cats.
I actually haven't done much. Been doing a lot of obscure media conversion tho. From what I can tell, the majority are Antiques Roadshow, Seinfeld, Homicide, etc. I have a feeling it wouldn't be other stuff from earlier on. My father was meticulous in the late 80s/early 90s with writing down contents. Later on, he didn't record much of note. If he did, he labelled it. I can check out some more but I doubt anything significant would be on it.
