First time posting here but the most notable finds I'd found in thrift stores are games and a VHS anime I haven't heard of. Some of the games were -de Blob (Wii) for $2.50 -de Blob 2 (Wii) for $3.00 -Heavenly Guardian (Wii) for $1.00 -Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DSi) for $9.00 -LAIR (PS3) for $1.00 -Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3) for $8.00 -Steel Diver (3DS) for $5.00 That's all I could remember anyway.
Duke Nukem 3D Kill-A-Ton Collection, Quake II, System Shock 2, Sim City, The 7th Guest (with the behind the scenes VHS tape), King's Quest IV, Thief: The Dark Project, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Silent Hill 3 for the PC all in their original boxes.
Criterion Collection DVDs: - "Sansho the Bailiff", Kenji Mizoguchi - "Patriotism", Yukio Mishima ($2.99 each at Salvation Army in Pasadena) - "Brazil", Terry Gilliam (3xDVD set, $9.99 at the same shop) - "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenenbaums", Wes Anderson (1 pound 95 each at a Cancer Research UK in London)
Once I found both gameboy Tetris and Pokémon pinball for gameboy and I think combined they were around 20 to 25 dollars, also once at a yard sale I found a ps one with the LCD screen attachment along with a second ps one and a monsters inc game for the system all for super cheap!
I bought a random interesting looking album (Sector 1 by Quadrant) for $2 at an antique mall and it turned out to be a super rare synth rock album worth around $50.
Hoarding obscure self-published music on the off chance someone misses it.
