I still haven't watched the sub or the viz dub of Sailor Moon R: The Promise of the Rose because I don't think I would enjoy it as much. I can't imagine no The Power of Love playing during the climax.

Probably The Banana Splits And Willys Wonderland. You know I’m starting to see a pattern. I guess I’m a fnaf fan now LOL. I never wasn’t. I love that game franchise!

A whole bunch of exploitation movies, most notably Godfrey Ho's movies featuring Pierre Kirby (yes I watch The Cinema Snob). They're absolutely ridiculous, but Kirby is acutally pretty good at action scenes?? Watched all of them, except Crackdown Mission, pretty sure it's lost.
Also, an obscure animated movie called Donkey Xote. A spanish flick, riding on the trend of "fairytales, but not the way you think of them" that was popular in the 2000s. I don't see the "they ripped off Shrek's donkey", but the character designs are very 2d Dreamworks inspired, so they're pretty good. What makes the movie fall apart for most people is the story and comedy. I actually enjoy stupid humour, so this is right up my alley, but the story could've been much better. It's still fine though. It's a surreal experience for an 8 year old, and a fun romp ala The Room (but much much better) for a 20smth year old.
Just vibin' here. Thanks to everyone who edited the Requiem for a Heavyweight article in terms of grammar. We made it to featured!
I totally get that this movie is a disappointment to many compared to the original Secret of NIMH (which I definitely agree is far superior). But it was one of my favorites as a kid and really, if you judge it as a standalone film with no connection to its predecessor, it's not that bad. No different than any other direct-to-video cartoon of the '90s. Cheesy and nonsensical at times, yes, but a cute story.
If you gotta act like a sequel isnt a sequel to like it, id say it failed

Or at least not take it seriously.
I did the same with Highlander II: The Quickening.
It absolutely tainted the message of the wholesome book it was based on, and it only exists because Mike Myers was given a contractual ultimatum, but I didn't see it until I was 13 and got all the dirty jokes, and I thought it was hilarious. Contrast this with How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which you can make the same criticisms of regarding dirty jokes, but it's generally a well-made movie, and it was a really big deal when it came out and I was really excited to see it. Jim Carrey gives it his all, and it's still an annual Christmas tradition to air on TV (though I haven't seen any indication it's airing this year), so I don't consider it a "guilty pleasure." In this one, on the other hand, Mike Myers just kind of does the best he can with what he's given, but I really enjoy it anyway.
Oh, and I don't feel any guilt in enjoying the Star Wars prequels, especially given all the redemption they got from The Clone Wars and some of the book tie-ins like the Jude Watson ones. They are indeed flawed, but so is the original trilogy (especially the first one), and all six are way better than the three new ones.

I genuinely like the film too, i'm with Dustin Putman on that film:link
I think the new Star Wars films are pretty good too.
