Pretty exciting, but weren't we looking for a particular show? Chicago or something?
We know for a fact that the Chicago show was professionally shot from multiple angles with the intention of being released, but possibly due to lack of interest, the footage was never edited together and is most likely in storage somewhere.
Honestly, it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be the Chicago show we should be looking for. Considering the Dubai show received a professionally edited performance, despite no documented plans to give it an official release, it IS possible that there could be professional recordings outside of the official Nintendo/4Kids taping of the Chicago show. Considering it was the popularity of Pokémon GO that led to MiG Ayesa uploading the Dubai show, all we can really do is see if any cast/crew of the Portuguese or Dutch performances upload their respective shows, as they may have been produced outside of Nintendo's resources.
Honestly, if we can find a professionally-edited recording of ANY of the American shows (of decent quality at least), THEN I believe it'd be a safe bet to declare Pokémon Live officially considered FOUND.

This is still very odd. Pokémon was still very big at the time, and they literally could've gotten by with anything with the brand slapped on it; odd it wasn't released, but we know it was at least planned to be released. We don't know what stage of editing/completion it reached though.

Is it actually true that there were only six North American cities in which they performed? If there were more, I'd be interested to see if they had a date in Detroit or at least the closest performance to Detroit.

"Okay, I have something to add. I was in contact with Chris Mitchell a few years ago. He recorded several shows, and he actually mailed me several DVDs of them. So, including the one that's on YouTube, I have six shows, though one of them is incomplete.
The shows are:
9/30/2000 Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY (INCOMPLETE)
10/14/2000 Wallingford, CT
10/22/2000 Toronto, ON
11/30/2000 Charlotte, NC
12/30/2000 Milwaukee, WI
1/5/2001 Chicago, IL
He also sent me the original cast recording and a disc of extras like commercials, news footage, etc. I suppose I could share."
That was me. Sorry it's been so long. I've actually ripped all the shows to my hard drive, but now comes the monumental task of uploading them: the files are a few gigabytes each and my Internet speed isn't exactly space age.
EDIT: Link removed.

I see. Thanks m8. I already have all the recordings mentioned. I asked Chris Mitchell about them and he sent me all of them, including the PROSHOT clip from the Pokemon Insider tape (Albeit in a wrong aspect ratio). The videos are in .m4v format (except the Proshot clip, which is .mov). He told me that I can't share them publicly. I'm not sure if he would be happy about the fact that you shared that .mkv file of the new york show. Still, thanks for the .mkv. If you want, I can send you the m4v and mov files that Chris sent to me via PM, I just need to upload them to a good file sharing sevice which has the capacity to support 12 GB worth of content.
