Looks like we REALLY reached the end of an era now.
Um...
So what now?
We've gotta find Riku and King Mickey.
I'm satisfied. I just wanted a conclusion, whether that meant it existing or not.
I love Mr. Orange. What a sane guy to be the mastermind behind this. He shared my same sentiments: "even though we were in contact with Lorenzo, everything was still so unclear".
I still have a question though: why was this dragged on for so long?
Aren't they going to get sued if one of the main characters is clearly SpongeBob?
omg, the Ongoing Mysteries video now reminded me of the original Lorenzo calls: "The movie was out for a short period of time", "We're going to remake (a movie that was never made) it"... right.
The title of the LMW article needs to be updated as well; it still gives a gesture that the movie exists.
btw, why didn't this hit the notice board?
Also, didn't Jorge Pacheco say he had nothing to do with ADWS? That the drawing was commissioned for something else?
The sad part is not that the film doesn't exist, but that the cool back lore is going to be forgotten.

I thought about this earlier today, and how we literally couldn't get in contact with Lorenzo for months on end. It would have ended so much faster if Reagal employees didn't actively ignore or block us.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say it was a combination of being overwhelmed by the popularity of a movie that literally didn't exist, and also not knowing who the "good guys" were in regards to getting information. I'm sure they were swamped every day with social media messages and they didn't know how to handle it.
Although a simple tweet suggesting "to whom it may concern, we have no information regarding ADWSS at this time" would have sufficed to a certain extent.

I just thought of this because at the end of the video Mr. Orange is like "I think I covered everything" (which he did a graceful job at), and then he leaves the opportunity to email him with further questions (which was directed at you guys?).
Really the only person I'm directing that Q at is Mr. Orange. Now that we know the details, it makes no sense why everyone acted so weird when questioned about this.
Anyway, I have this weird theory that Mr. Orange is Daniel Sean.

Y'all can thank me for finding the number
Seriously though, the reason was because, as Mr Orange said, people llikely moved on and forgot about the project or weren't even involved. Same answer for Lorenzo saying it was out for a little bit
EDIT: IIRC way back on the wikia someone debunked the Daniel Sean tweet by finding that he posted a screencap of the newer movie

lol wut? People forgot about the project when they were breaking into MVD and calling Lorenzo nonstop? I'm saying why did Mr. Orange drag this on for so long? Like literally, he leaves the end of the audio log open for questions and this would be a good one, unless that is the answer, which really doesn't answer it for me.
Like Lorenzo and everyone else may have moved on but Mr. Orange was there the whole time; he's literally the man behind the curtain. I don't blame him though; this was amazing entertainment. Forget your grade-A murder flick; this is real-life.
My favorite memory of the search was the person here who said "I am not dropping the search until we find Lorenzo and interrogate him in person"... lol... I love LMW.
That shit is completely gone dude. It won't be found ;-;
Actually, I've got into contact with a good number of people who worked on it. Got the sameish response each time. They're worried about a release cause of copyright issues. One guy said they had to redo fully recorded and edited songs numerous times because of the resemblance to jimmy Hendrix. So, if we can convince Viacom to chill..?

Trying to convince Viacom to chill is like trying to convince McDonalds to start selling fruit instead of burgers and fries. Good luck.

McDonalds does sell fruit though. It's just that no-one buys it. Why would I want a tiny bag of apple and grape bits when I can just as easily order another box of fries? Why bother with milk or bottled water when Coke is available?
