I think this is a really interesting lost media topic actually. Just wondering though, stewartisme, where did you find that recording of the episode? The one that you uploaded to your channel.
Does anyone live near the university of pittsburgh.
I am thinking that might not be any help. WorldCat often has out of date listings and items are no longer available. Looking at the university's actual catalogue they don't have any recordings of any Mister Rodgers' eps listed. However the library does have an online chat service(https://www.library.pitt.edu/help-hillman) to talk to staff. Being in Australia I would struggle to find a time that I can get in contact but someone could get on and ask, perhasps including this World Cat link in the chat.

It was on youtube a long while ago but was deleted. I don't know if youtube was the original upload place or not but the backup from the wayback machine was the one I used to reupload to youtube because I couldn't find where I had it downloaded before.

Our best bet is to look for PBS Broadcasts from the 90's or find people who recorded PBS Kids around that time, they may have it.
I'm 99.999% sure the person who recorded the 1525 episode recorded it from Youtube. I believe the 5 minute video we know of and have was active around 2012. If we can just find a working link or one where it used to be, then well be one step closer.
