Hi there, it's me again. Lately I've been recalling a few old cartoons from the 30's-50's that I used to have on an old VHS tape of mine when I was a kid. At the moment, I seem to have found the majority (I think), of the cartoons that were on the tape. On the tape, there were shorts such as "CobWeb Hotel" from 1936, "The Song of the Birds" from 1935, "Gabby" (1941), and "Hector's Hectic Life" (1946).
However, there is this one short I remember that is nowhere to be found with any description I provide. I was wondering if perhaps the community would be able to help me find this film, as I can't seem to find it myself.
There are a few things about this short/scene that I will list:
1. The main character looked something along the line of the Sugar Crisps cereal mascot. Like this image here: cdn.stimulantonline.ca/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/sugar-crisp.png
2. The main character was riding in a train. To be more specific, a passenger coach.
3. The main character is being talked to and called by name by a cloud shaped like him, most likely his conscience. The main character seems to be annoyed by this.
4. The main character may have been dressed in a flat hat and red-stripe shirt. Something along the lines of a barbershop quartet, but without the mustache. Possibly could have also had a cane, but for fashion reasons rather than for old age. Might have been the cloud who had the cane instead, I'm not sure.
5. The short/scene somehow finds itself in a canyon, with a bunch of bears singing and dancing to "If You're Happy and you Know it".
6. It was almost definitely made in the 30's-60's. My personal guess would probably have to be in the 40's, but I'm not entirely sure. The animation certainly matches this era. Film was in colour.
My memory of this is very fuzzy. I wish I can provide more information. If anything can be done to help find the short/scene, that would be great. I loved it as a kid, and it pops up in my head every so often. If only I can watch it again.
