There is media still to be found, but feel like if the media is any of the following, people are just unable to help or are not interested in the media enough to want to help. This can mean the search doesn't get far and this can make it feel like there is less interest in lost media:
1. Very hard to find and search for.
2. Niche/Obscure, forgotten or unknown, so not many people know about it. Especially true if its older media that younger generations might not even know about or the media is only known best in certain regions of the world.
3. The media, even if it is well known, is only popular to very small group of people or maybe even just one person.
4. Isn't lost media from some well known TV show, movie, game, music artist, media franchise etc...
5. For whatever reason, the media probably shouldn't see the light of day again.
Even if there is searches going on for media it may just seem like after a while no one is interested and can cause the media to go out of the spotlight. This can happen when there are long periods of time with no new info or leads on the media, and it only gets spotlighted again when that changes or more people start asking about it again to bright back the spotlight on it.
There is still a list of media I am looking for and have asked about on here which I have not got much help with finding and still can't find myself. I feel some of the media I am looking for is the kind of media that falls under probably unpopular, obscure and very hard to find such as some midi files I am looking for and TV shows like "The Jimmy Ferguson Show" which I don't think many people would know about, especially younger generations.
I agree with this. I've gone off and on looking for the TimePlay stuff I previously talked about here, yet I still don't get any helpful results. Not helped by the fact that hardly anyone else posts in my threads about TimePlay likely due to not being interested.
