Seconding. I don't think A Day With Spongebob counts since it wasn't fake, it was just unproduced beyond the cover art or something like that. But I'm nitpicking so do excuse me XD

In my eyes searches only become popular and stay alive based on how interested people are in it, how willing they are to invest their time and effort into searching. If they don't care about the lost media at hand, they're not gonna want to put hours into searching. Y'know?

There's lots of supposed North Korean lost media... that you'd see if you watched streams of KCTV (national broadcaster).

People not doing research in general. I can understand if it's obscure anime #324534543 that never got a DVD release, but you have people claiming things are UNRELEASED when the DVD set can be like $20.

That's interesting. When did KCTV streams start materialising? 

One broadcast I'm curious about is Korean Central Television's coverage of that infamous 7-0 defeat to Portugal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. First ever time the nation aired a football match live (per The Guardian) and it was a complete disaster! 

Currently, I've only found a few Associated Press interviews that contain scenes of North Koreans watching the game. It ended prematurely with KCT cutting to news footage featuring Kim Jong Il (per Pioneer Press).

I've seen KCTV broadcast association football matches live; they usually do not show the audience in the stands (by this I mean focusing on individual audience members - remember, socialism is NOT about the individual) and definitely do not focus on the advertisements, and the announcer is the calmest I've ever heard anyone announce an association football match. It's mostly focusing on the players and the coaches.

I'm talking about DPRK dramas, scripted TV shows, etc. The great musical extravaganzas and military parades are usually clipped out by people and posted on Youtube. The KCTV streams have been going on for a very long time since before 2010 and I'm legitimately surprised nobody was clipping out the association football matches then considering how large, and how frankly weird, the Juche community on the Internet is.

There's also the off chance someone might have actually video recorded the relevant match off air live. Such video is technically illegal in the Republic of Korea, but they've been traded, and I have no idea if there was ever a VHS tape trading scene in the DPRK... of domestic programming.
