</div>Yeah sometimes you just don't get it the first time you watch it. I'm actually on this stage myself with JoJo-caught a small glimpse of one of the movies at a convention, had ZERO idea as to what was going on, couldn't figure it out, and then peaced out within minutes. But I know the series has reasons for its following.
Anime club, great memories! It's always nice when they try to show a variety of shows to give a taste of multiple genres. My anime club watched historical shows, gaming adaptations, magical girl shows, strange comedies, slice of life shows, harem/"bishoujo"/"bishounen," space, artsy stuff, "classics," etc. I obviously didn't like all of these shows, but I am grateful they tried to give us a variety of material to try out. Gives a better appreciation for the medium, and pigeonholes it less.
Friends, I have no idea why but it just wasn't interesting to me at first (witch is strange because I watched both the big bang theory and two and a half men). Decided to watch it this year and I love it!
Kirby and Sonic X. Didn't have FoxBox in our house sadly, so I didn't get to "watch" until I was a lot older, but even then could never get past the first episode for whatever reason. Binged both this year and had a really fun time with both!

I was actually like that with Big Bang Theory at first as well(also My Name is Earl)but it grew on me eventually.

I wasn't into Friends in the 90s when it came out and became popular. I had seen clips from various episodes a few times but that was it. I started watching it last year from the start until the final episode and I liked it a lot.
Same with Bobs Burgers. I didn't start watching it until about 2 years ago and now it is one of my favourite shows.
- Nightmare Before Christmas. I remember liking it as a kid but was very anti the film during my teen and adult years. I think it was mostly the type of people who were super fans which sort of turned me off from it. But I watch it last year when I was super depressed and it made me very happy. Maybe you truly have to be emo to like it, lol.
- Hazbin Hotel. The first time watching it, I wasn't that into it. But after a rewatch, I actually really like it.

I never got on with Bob's Burgers myself(it gave me a bad first impression with some of the voices and the animation style and I never looked back after that)but I ended up checking out the film out of curiosity and liked it more then I thought I would so I might give the show another chance.

Yeah, I think I watched TNBC like once as a kid and it left basically no impression on me but then I got borderline obsessed with it as a teenager. My parents even got me the soundtrack and piano music book along with the special edition DVD, and some adorable set of purple themed socks. I'm definitely not into it the way I was as a teen and I feel that at heart it is a very simple movie. But it is one that I still appreciate for its artistry and heart. Part of me really wants to give Corpse Bride another watch too. I thought it was "good," when I watched it in theaters, flawed but had enough positive qualities for me to like it. But I think I own it on DVD and don't even remember rewatching it even once, which is wild.

Yeah, Bob's Burgers is one that I just cannot make up my mind on whether I want to watch it or not, and that's probably 90% I just don't like the show's "aesthetics." But I also know a fair number of people who really like it, so I want to give it a fair chance at some point.
-Dragon Ball:Went from hating it due to the "Could he beat Goku tho?" people in the fandom to giving it a chance and really enjoying it. -VeggieTales:I despised it as a kid, For whatever reason the Fib and Giant Pickle scared the crap out of me as a young child. But eventually through YTPs of all things I ended up rewatching the series and enjoying it quite alot. And then returning to it as of recently due to the models being some of the easiest to use on Blender (So if you are wondering where I've been these past few weeks, It's the VT Blender community.).
Hazbin Hotel for me too XD I wasn't a fan at all when the pilot had come out, but I went into the full series with an open mind and ended up really liking it. It's not really well written in any way but it's got fun characters and setting..
Murder Drones too, I almost dropped it during the first episode but I'm glad I powered through. I almost didn't watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force too since the first episode is kind of boring as hell. But it's one of those shows where it only really gets better. And then it starts to drop off Please no more ATHF we have ENOUGH!

Twilight is another one. I never read or saw it when it first came out, but like the rest of us, I made fun of it. I watched the movies about a couple years ago and actually enjoyed them as mindless background noise. I wouldn’t exactly call myself a fan of the franchise, but I don’t think it’s too bad.
